Gigantic Hawthorne is our family-friendly pub in the heart of Southeast Portland. It’s a welcoming neighborhood hangout where you can enjoy Gigantic beer, great food, and good company—indoors or on our spacious patio.

FOOD

We're beyond stoked to have Machetes PDX taking over the kitchen at Gigantic Hawthorne for a full-blown Nov/Dec residency. That's right — Diego & McKenna are bringing their Mexico City-style magic to SE PDX every Thursday–Sunday, 2-9PM, all November and December. If you've had their massive, heirloom-masa machetes (aka giant oblong quesadillas sent from the gods), then you already know this is big. If you haven't... buckle up. These two have some delicious surprises up their sleeves, and we're ready to eat all of them with a Gigantic beer in hand.

Pizza the Gathering pops up at our location every Tuesday making delicious pizza! Stop in for Stumped Town Trivia every Tuesday night, starting at 630pm.

From Monday-Wednesday you are welcome to bring in food from one of the great local restaurants or the food carts a block away. 

🖼 The Portrait Room
Tucked in the back of Gigantic Hawthorne, The Portrait Room is available for private events and community gatherings. It seats up to 30 guests for formal events or 24 for mingling-style get-togethers.
